Sticky yummy granola

This granola recipe is more of a treat and supplement to an otherwise healthy meal. The recipe contains a bit of sugar and syrup or honey. I would recommend using this sparingly and only as a topping for fruits or similar, not as the main element of your breakfast or lunch.

A delicious sticky and crunchy granola is great to add to a fruity breakfast. I use granola to add flavor and texture to breakfasts with fruits, yogurt and/or chia porridge. The recipe for the last one I made contains:

Recipe:
50 ml good food oil
150 ml honey or syrup (or mix)
Mix up in a bowl and add
150 grams rolled oats
100 grams sultanas
50 grams dried goji berries
50 grams chopped walnuts
50 grams chopped pecan nuts
50 grams brown sugar
100 grams pumpkin seeds
50 grams sunflower seeds

This is approximately what I used. And the beauty is if you have other seeds, nuts or dried fruits, you can add what you like.
Mix it all up well in a bowl. Spread on a tray lined with baking paper and cook in the oven at 140 degrees Celsius for 20 minutes. Leave to cool for a while and then break onto bits and store in airtight containers in the fridge. Ops… it is a bit sticky.
